Roberto Bianchi was born 1969. He lives in Cibiana di Cadore, a quaint little village amongst the beautiful Dolomite mountains. From the very childhood, he was attracted by an uncontrollable passion for drawing wildlife. In 2000, he became a professional painter. Trade press often define him as “one of the most important painters of his sector”.
His techique is oil on canvas. His drawings are absolutely realistic, but with a poetic touch. The aim of the artist is to give a soul to its paintings. As a self-taught artist, he never followed any course of painting. Luckily, he met illustrious masters who taught him some of their secrets.
He mainly paints wildlife and alpine landscapes, taking care of every detail. From reflections in the eyes of the animals, to shadows and highlights. Roberto Bianchi attended some of the most important exhibitions around the world: Brescia, Nuremberg, Salzburg, Reno (Nevada, USA), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Dortmund (Germany), Las Vegas (Nevada, USA), Harrogate Yorkshire (England), Beretta Gallery in Milan, Cortina, “Carrousel du Louvre” in Paris.
