Within You Without You, is a work from Marie Reine Levrat Ascolese’s collection.

Within You Without You. This is George Harrison’s second composition in the style of Indian classical music after Love You To. This song was inspired by his six-week stay in India with his mentor and sitar teacher, Ravi Shankar, in September-October 1966. Recorded in London without the input of the other Beatles, the song contains various traditional Indian instruments such as sitar, dilruba, and tabla. It was recorded by Harrison with members of the Asian Music Circle.
Thanks to the huge success of the album around the world, Within You Without You introduced a new generation of Western audiences to Indian music and contributed to the genre’s peak of popularity internationally.
