Offended souls. Looking at this work from afar, he offers the impression of a particularly elaborate vase, but you hardly notice how much is carved on its surface. Observing it carefully one can see suffering faces, hands raised to the sky, and screams, all enhanced by the vertical shape on which they are engraved. The artist wanted to underline the aspiration of the soul to climb high and not succeed, in all their desperation.
