Reale fiction 81 is a work of Johann Nußbächer’s Collection.

An erupting volcano mouth Fire! Or reddish blinding light from a kiln or an erupting volcano mouth, exploding over the rough surface of an everlasting glacier! Whatever thing could be possible , or logical, to see in an abstract work, here we are facing, anyway, a high strength work,  a work of a big visual impact, in which the two opposites are meeting, interpenetrating one another, flowing one into the other.

The adjective “reale” is in Italian: is it possible that the wish was to “play” with the double meaning of “reale” that, in the Italian language, can mean both “real” and “royal”? Anyway the works “Reale Fiction” by Johann Nußächer are characterized by a tridimensional appearance (the surface is always flat) that plays in a remarkable way with the typical aspects of natural materials, as gypsum surfaces, dug, cut, pierced, submitted to different colour gradations. It is this relationship between fiction and reality to create the mysterious and polyvalent fascination of these works, that can be read in very different ways too (macro-photography effects) and involve with their abstract beauty, communicating directly with the field of fantasy and fantastic.
