Orchestra de jazz.  Marie Reine Levrat deeply loved the world she had known through her husband Ascolese. She loved him to the point of dedicating this and other paintings and even record covers to him. Her drawing, which clearly comes from the school of the great French masters of the 20th century, manages to grasp those nuances that only those who come from inside jazz can grasp.
