Mechanical girl – blood and pain of the heart, is a work of Safir-Rifas’s collection.

Mechanical girl. This work was inspired by the fate of women in the contemporary world: consider a robot or a machine. We want to denounce those attitudes on the part of society that tend to consider women useful only for housework or for work in general. As if they were machines to be turned off when not needed. Woman as a human being and an essential part of humanity is sometimes deprived of her dignity. She is often relegated to the sole role of natural mother and without which humanity does not proceed. The crudeness of the image and the red heart are this denunciation that wants to underline how in every woman a heart beats and with it pulsate the emotions that are the engine of life and of the world.
