LightHouse 11. The beauty of the work lies in the reflections of light which, starting from a sea, remain invisible to the eye, safe in a sunny sky. The rays break out in many shades of red and green. In stark contrast, the earth, a deep brown, is cut by a tongue of light that descends from the sky. It is a very beautiful work, absolutely particular. The use of oil colors in an oily way helps to give a touch of three-dimensionality to the image as a whole.
