Let It Be 2, is a work of Marie Reine Levrat Ascolese collection.

Let It Be 2. The original inspiration dates back to the single Hey Jude / Revolution and the related promotional video clip shot on 4 September 1968 under the direction of Michael Lindsay-Hogg in the Twickenham studio; in that circumstance the group should have played in front of a limited number of selected guests, but word of mouth brought together a much larger audience than expected who gathered almost in contact with the musicians as they were filmed during the rehearsal performances of Hey Jude . This situation awakened in the group the enthusiasm for live performances and the desire to perform again in a concert.
The basic idea was that – like the first album, Please Please Me, recorded in a single twelve-hour session in 1962 – the Beatles should abandon electronic equipment and overdubs in favor of live recordings.
