Judith lost innocence, is a work of Safir-Rifas’s collection.

Judith lost innocence. The story describes Judith as a beautiful Jewish widow. The woman manages to enter the tent of Holofernes, an Assyrian general, who was about to destroy the city of Betulia. Holofernes by pretending to betray her people and igniting the carnal lust of Holofernes, makes him drunk and when he faints she beheads him. I was inspired by the exciting biblical story and the work of Gustav Klimt. History suggests that the male ego is a bad thing to show, which often leads to violent fears and fantasies, albeit shrouded in an erotic aura. In most of the representations, Giuditta becomes, in a dazzling nudity, the example of depraved seduction. I added the symbol of innocence, represented by the daisies, the loss of innocence for the carnal sacrifice and murder she is forced to.
