Glitch#1 is a work of Che-i, Liao’s collection.

Glitch are a series of photographies belonging to the collection of Che-i, Liao (Matt Liao).
They are Inkjet Prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta Paper. A green entity seems to cancel the reservoirs, like a tide that submerges. Also, it seems to subdue the spatiality and the cold metal.
An unnatural, contaminated green is coming. Plants do not appear. The nature is rebelling with its contrasting colors.
The photos bring back lots of memories. But memory change over time. People try to keep a certain memory by photography. The memory faded away by time and the rest of it, is the fragment of images. Through damaged images, we understand and memorize fragmented memories from the past. Now, we contemplate our story: the lost images revealed in the damaged images faded away by the passing of the memory.
