Elena decided after her experience with the oil color technique to devote herself to the watercolor one. The result is to have created fairytale or movie scenes. Here we have a timeless city, perched on a hill that stands in front of a canal where a sailing ship with its figurehead is moored. A woman wrapped in her raincoat, observes everything, the man in the distance or is lost in her thoughts. We will never know. She herself tells us: ” The world I create comes from my fantasies, from the brief perception of something unusual and miraculous that amazes me and therefore I want to share with you.”
