Crater
Talking about the crater evokes flaming images, the earth that spews fire. Instead, the artist gives us the vision of the dormant crater, everything is still, quiet. On its slopes rise trees. The only concession is the use of red and brown colors, which give that feeling of arid land, but full of life, a distant memory of the period when the lava melted it. Indeed in this panorama, the floating clouds create a fantastic, relaxing landscape, the only element that reminds us of the crater as a gateway to the earth’s depths is a dark ravine that stands out on the right, ready in an indefinite era to repeat the cycle of time and fire.
