Aretha mikado, is a work of Frederic Durieu & Nathalie Erin’s collection.

Aretha mikado. Aretha Louise Franklin was an American singer-songwriter and pianist, one of the icons of gospel, soul and R&B music.
She was nicknamed – The Queen of Soul – or – Lady Soul – for her ability to add a soulful streak to whatever she sang. She had tremendous vocal qualities. The State of Michigan has officially declared her voice “a wonder of nature”. Therefore it was almost right to dedicate a work to him following the unmistakable style of our two artists. They reconstructed the image through digital art using a simple element like mikado. Result? marvelous!
