A bell for Erasmus of Rotterdam, No. 1, is a work of Fausto Maria Franchi’s collection.

A bell for Erasmus of Rotterdam. This bell with an original shape was dedicated together with others in the series to a great man of culture in history. The artist seems to refer to one of the Erasmus books, “The eulogy of madness”. Being the first of the series, it is also the beginning of a journey that takes place in several phases. The first is the analysis of the personality, here represented by symbols that chase each other on the surface. The second phase is the search for the key and the third is the analysis of the depth.
It is a very beautiful and impressive series where the master Franchi has shown all his sensitivity as a man and as an artist.
